Is it beneficial or detrimental to apply wrinkle creams and eye creams to young skin?

I am only 20 and I was wondering if I start applying wrinkle creams, eye creams etc. that are targeted for late twenty-something’s and older ages skin to my face that does not yet have these problems, will it prevent those flaws from developing in my skin as early/severe, will it do absolutely nothing, or will it really somehow make the products less affective when it’s really needed one day?!
