Sarasota FL – Botox and Disport for Wrinkles & Crows Feet

I believe that a Neurotoxin, which is Botox, which I use mostly — and there is another product out there called Disport — and that has shown to be very safe and effective as well. But a neurotoxin is really the best thing that you could use. Now, what is Botox or how does this work? It’s a purified protein. But what it does is this material stops your nerve endings from really interacting with the muscle fibers. So, it makes a blockade there right at that juncture, and by blockading that, the muscle isn’t allowed to contract. So, if the muscle doesn’t contract, it doesn’t form the wrinkle. And over time, if you use it enough, it really atrophies, and it shrinks, and the wrinkle becomes less and less apparent. But, that usually is somewhere between four to six months. So, every four to six months, you really need to do something, and you’ll slowly notice the wrinkles starting to come back. A Botox treatment generally costs between $200-$400, and that will treat your forehead, this area here called the glabella, and/or around your eyes.

How do the wrinkles form that botox is used on? Is it due to skin elasticity? Or another reason?
Hello,
I have a question, now the wrinkles people use botox for, how are they formed? Dose it have something to do with skin elasticity? Or what is the reason?
Any help would be fantastic.
Thanks!

Botox Injections in Frown Lines – Does it Hurt?
My trusty docs, Dr. Litner and Dr. Solieman from Profiles Beverly Hills, injected Botox the hereditary frown lines between my eyebrows, also know as “elevens.” (And, yes, I am a legitimate candidate for Botox there, as I frown when I sleep and have had increasingly deep grooves there for years. Most readers of my blog, JolieNadine.com, don’t notice because I’ve been Botoxing the lines for a couple of years now.) Thanks to numbing cream, it barely hurt, although it did sting a bit on the outer corners of the eyes. Check out my site, JolieNadine.com, for more, or visit the Docs’ site, beverlyhillsprofiles.com
